TARA:Excuse me ,Has the 8.15 from Dabu arrived yet?

GUARD: Yes, Madam. It came in 5 minutes ago. Platform 6, over there.

TARA:Oh dear, I'm meeting my husband, I hope I haven't missed him.

PAUL: Tara, Tara .... over here darling..... Oh darling! It's wonderful to see you. Oh Tara, oh, you look marvellous.

Tara: Oh Paul.and you look tired, Two months away in the capital. Paul. I think you've been working too hard.

Paul: Oh I'm fine, The city's very hot at this time of the year. It's good to get back to some fresh air. you know Tara. what they say about pregnant women really is true.

TARA: What's that Paul?

Paul: They say they look beautiful, It's wonderful to see you. I feel I've been away for a year.

TARA: Well I've had a lot of attention while you've been studying hard on your course in Dabu.

PAUL: Oh?

真的?

Tara: Oh don't worry. All from men over 50. Father has told all his business friends the good news about the baby and the phone hasn't stopped ringring.

Paul:Oh look, darling, there's a taxi...

Tara: Paul. tell me about this special project you mentioned on the phone, You sounded very excited about it,

Paul: Later, darling, later, Let's get home first. I need a shower and then something to eat. Come on, Taxi! Taxi!

Paul: Tara.... Tara darling. where are the towels?

Tara: Oh here darling!

Paul: Oh thank you, oh that was good, oh I feel like a new man now. Now listen, this Special project....

Tara. Oh now Paul. even though I am a shareholder in Jayal Motors...

Paul: Yes, and not to forget, the boss's daughter.

Tara: Seriously darling, let's not talk business yet. Why you haven't even eaten.

Paul: All right then, But let me tell you what the course was like anyway. You know, I've learned a lot. I am surprised that we're still in business.

Tara: That's because we have a wonderful Sales Manager .... you!

Paul: Thanks... but that's not the problem at all. Tara. our little company- and it is little compared to the giants in the city-our little company's in danger, We're out of  date, we need to expand, If we don't, we'll be swallowed up by one of the giants.

Tara: But if we are as small as you say. why should anyone want to take us over?

Paul:Listen Tara. although we are small, we're competition to them... The big firms, I'm sure, would like to buy up our know-how and expand their sales even more.

Tara: Well, it seems from what you say that there's nothing we can do to stop them .... unless... heh, what about this special project?

Paul: Ah, Ah, After lunch ....

Tara: Oh Paul.

Paul:Oh, that was a lovely meal. darling, it's so nice to eat in my own garden again!

Tara: Now Paul. You've had a shower and you've had your lunch, I want to know how my favourite Sales Manager is going to keep Jayal Motors in business!

Paul:Well, it all started with this course, To my surprise my tutor asked me to do a special project on exporting, It gave me a lot of ideas ... for, well, Jayal Motors.

Tara: Exporting?Paul, you're not serious?

Paul: That's why I didn't explain it to you on the phone. you see, Your father would think I was crazy,He might have called me back before the end of my project.

Tara: But where could we export to, Paul? Our farthest retailer's only 40 miles away ... and already you say we are threatened by the firms in Dabu. But in an export market, can you imagine? The Chinese ...

Paul: I know. I know. it's not easy, But even if we succeed only in a small way, It'll give us an edge on the market at home.

Tara. And all the extra costs? Where do  we get the money?

Paul: I thought of that, We'll have to increase the number of shareholders and perhaps borrow money from the bank to get started and ...

Tara: Well, that suggestion is not going to be very popular for a start, I'm sorry, Paul. It's not going to be that easy, You see, father got this letter yesterday...

Paul: And?

Tara: Well, he says we're in debt.

Paul: In debt? .. oh, but that's impossible.
