从上例的两公司信函来往之中可以看到，该外贸企业因为相关工作出现疏忽，在没有收到购买方钱款时，就已经准备安排发货，外贸单证员在和财务工作人员复核审查过程中发现该用户并未将帐款打入账户之中。这就是外贸单证员在正常业务中的重要工作之一，也就是说要对相关的单证做好审核，一旦在这方面做到查无巨细，则有可能为公司挽回损失，如同上例，如果在相应工作中马虎大意，就很有可能无法帮助企业把关，最终公司很有可能将面临巨额损失。
